Note about wives
Johann Jerrig's wife has been variously named Anna Catrina Oberlin or Anna Margaretha Hasslin. I don't know which is correct so both have been retained. It is possible both are true, and one died and Johann Jerrig remarried. Research ongoing.
Life
Johann George Null was born in Alsace-Lorraine, Germany abt 1696 [according to immigration records]. George died aft 1753 in either Rockingham Co, VA, or in PA. [Note: there is a death record for a George Noll who died in 1753 in New Hanover, Montgomery County, PA. There is also an exact death date in 1766 recorded, but the location is unclear.]
He married an Anna Catrina. Her maiden name my have been Oberlin.
They settled on a stream in Pennsylvania, named the Swatara. There were seven children in the family; five sons, and two daughters. Their names were John, Nicholas, Balser [Henry]; and one brother that Father did not know his name. The sisters were Mrs. Brenner and Mrs. Gunckel.
Johann George Null and Catrina had the following children:
- Maria Elizabetha Null. She married ?? Benner.
- Anna Maria Null. She married Michael Gunkle.
- Balthasar Noll was born in Germany abt 1720. Balthasar died abt 1803 in Lebanon Co, PA. His body was interred in Klopps Reformed Church Graveya, Lebanon Co, PA. He married Anna Maria Stein in Berks Co, PA, 11 Jun 1754. Anna was born 01 Jan 1733/34. Anna died 30 Jul 1805 in Lebanon Co, PA, at 71 years of age.
- Nicolas Null was born in Alsace-Lorraine, Germany abt 1720. Nicolas died May 1767 in Augusta Co, VA, at 46 years of age. He married Anna Margaret Pence abt 1740. Anna was born in Germany abt 1720. Anna died aft 1769 in Augusta Co, VA.
- Philip Null was born in Alsace-Lorraine, Germany abt 1722. Philip died 1749 in Tulephocken Twsp, Lebanon Co, PA, at 27 years of age. He married Margaret Beauchamp. Margaret was born in Rockingham Co, VA.
- Johann Georg Null Jr was born in Alsace-Lorraine, Germany abt 1730. Johann died abt 1771 in Lancaster Co, PA. He married Catrina ??. Catrina was born abt 1730. Catrina died aft 1771 in Londonberry Twp, Lancaster Co, PA.
- Heinrich 'Henry' Null Sr. was born 07 Jul 1735.
Member of Trinity Tulpehocken Reformed Church Records 1748.

Alternate life history
Came from Germany in the early 1700's, settled in Tulpehocken, PA, they moved into Augusta Co., VA in 1750's and remained in the present day Rockingham Co., VA area. In the early 1800's they moved to west. Many settled in Kanawha Co, VA, (Present day WV.) They moved again to Ohio, settling mainly in Lawrence Co, Jackson Co, and Gallia Co. area.
Immigration
Hans George Noll came in the ship Loyal Judith of London from Rotterdam, Last from Cowes, England. Qualified Sep 25, 1732/1733. p62 of Pennsylvania Oaths of allegiance.
From the genealogy of Jacob R. Miller and his descendants (DAR): John George Null came to this country on the Loyal Judith which landed in Philadelphia on September 25, 1732. He settled in Berks County Pennsylvania. On board ship there were 119 men. Three different spellings of the name are given:

He traveled down the Rhyne River from his home in Alsaac-Lorraine, Germany to Rotterdam, Holland,where he boarded the ship " Loyal Judith" with Robert Turpin, as his Master. The ship sailed from Rottendam, then stopped at Cowes, England before arriving at Philadelphia, Penn on September 25, 1732.
Johann George Noll was listed as 36 years of age on the ships list of passengers. Due to the translations of German to English, and also many of the people could read or write the other language. There are numerous spellings of his name on the ships list he is Hans George Noll. On another it is John Jurig Noll, and also found in other records as Hans Jerig Noll. However, they all mean John George Noll
