• On 11 August 1942, Johanna Dublon's son, Erich (b. 1890), was deported to Auschwitz KZ/Extermination Centre.
• On 10 September 1942, Johanna Dublon, née Stern, signed a contract with the Reichsvereinigung der Juden in Deutschland (RV)(The National Association of German Jews) whereby she assigned all her remaining assets to the RV. The contract was called a "Heimeinkaufsvertrag" or "Home Purchase Contract" and was supposed to provide Johanna with room & board and medical attention and other care in the Theresienstadt Ghetto.
