Tappan Patent heir

As the grandson of the de Vries who was an original patentee in Tappan, by marrying Tryntje he married into a family line (Kuyper) that also was one of the original 16 holdersTappan Patent land. (see: Cornelius Kuyper and his brother John (Jan) Kuyper.

As David Stephen Cohen writes on page 36 of The Ramapo Mountain People
" In (this) generation the De Vries family began to spread out" > THEY MOVED TO CLARKSTOWN NY. joining the Dutch Reformed Church there in 1752 where their children were baptized

Who was the Catherine De Fres (sic) (De Vries) listed in 1800 as ' a free white family head residing in Clarkstown and owning two slaves' ? (Cohen p. 41-2) I will hypothetically add her as a second wife to John IV as his first wife died in 1793.
