Born on a farm in Lillebakk, hence his last name.
Johannes Nielsen immigranted to the United States. In the book I have read that he died in the U.S.A., but I have heard it is not true. He came back to Norway and died in Trondheim 1938. (Rolf Alb. Johansen, Trondheim, Norway, March 15, 1995.)
In 2002 Rolf told Sheri Ronne Kent, b 1963, that is believed Johannes died of syphillus in a mental institution in Norway after returning from the US.
Died in Hospital in Trondheim of pneumonica on (Norwegian Lungebetetemer) grave at Lade graveyard, church at grave yard still there. (Tore Waack, Flatasen, Norweigian Aug. 28, 1977. Letter)
Died 6th of March 1898 and was buried at Lademoen churchyard in Trondheim, his wife didn't have the money to bring him back to Orlandet and bury him there. Grave is not marked. He lived most of his life on Ørland, but went to the U.S., when he came back he was ill and was put in a mental hospital in Trondheim. Died 37 years old He lived at the farm called Mikkelhaugen at Ronne on Ørland.(Ingrid interperted by Toril Merete Waack July 27, 1996 "Ingrid is Grandpa Ronne's neice)
