Dr. Med Johannes Selleger,
Leiden University Library (special collections department) has a copy of Johannes Selleger's doctoral thesis published in Leiden in 1823.
"Dissertatio medica inauguralis exhibens quaedam de cholera, speciatim de cholera vera epidemica."

According to this site
"Johan Selleger (Purmerend 1799-Arnhem 1873), medicinae doctor, wordt in 1865 benoemd tot de door de gemeenteraad van Arnhem nieuw ingestelde Gezondheidscommissie (Gedenkboek Arnhem 1813-1913). Hij is getrouwd met Elisabeth Braun en met Johanna Elisabeth Bruijn. Vermoedelijk zijn zoon B(ernard) Selleger woont in 1865 ook in het huis als telegrafist 3de klasse."

Johannes was the master physician for the town of Batavia in Indonesia. He was knight of the Dutch lion order, and was awarded the honoury medal by the "Schutterlijke" dienst.
In 1865 he was appointed as chairman for the, by the Arnhem County Council, newly introduced Helath Commission.
