He married 23 Oct. 1660 NY Dutch Church Anna/Johanna Sodelaers born about 1625 from Connex in Bergen Norway; she married second Claes Tunissen Clear on 15 Sep 1694. Jan was a blacksmith residing in Flushing, Flatbush and finally settled in Bushwick. He died before 15 Sep 1694
