Johannes Hercules Viljoen, d10e6

According to the Viljoen Familieregister p.706 he participated in the Great Trek and he was a survivor of the Battle of Blood River which took place on 16 December 1836.

He was a farmer in the Graaff-Reinet district. Moved with the Groot Trek to Rietrivier (known as Fauresmith nowadays). Member of the Wenkommando at the battle of Bloedrivier. on 16 December 1836.
