Johann Wilhelm Hurter

HURTER JOHANN WILHELM (S), in Comp.'s books entered as WILLEM HEURTER. - Oberkassel. Son of Adam H. and Catharina Elisabeth Kremers. * 22.9.1722 (W. Schmidt, p. 133). Arr. 1750 as so., gardener till 1752, master gardener 1753-62, b. 1763. Member of Marriage Board. ~ 14.12.1755 Barbara Hauk, d. of Hans Jürgen Hauk (q.v.). 8 children. + 20.4.1783. (GMR 1751-62; G.R. nr. 202; Test. CJ 1179: 37; CJ 1100: 72; Test. O.C. 29: 79.) In 1788 H. is mentioned as owner of the farm “De Olifants Bos” behind the False Bay mountains. (Rq. 1788: 84.)
