John Christie Aitken, Esq., of Thornton, Australia, third, but eldest surviving son of the preceding, was born at Ferrybank, Cupar Road, Cupar, Fife KY15 5DT 56.312248, -3.032658, 1821; settled in Australia; married Fanny Macnamara, daughter of Daniel Macnamara, M.D., R.N., by whom he had issue:
- Francis Aitken, of whom presently.
- Jane Christie Aitken, married K. MacLeod, and has issue: (1) Frances MacLeod. (2) John MacLeod. (3) Kenneth MacLeod. (4) Emma MacLeod. (5) Torquil MacLeod. (6) Oona MacLeod. (7) Alister MacLeod.
- Fanny Aitken, married Captain Burn, 14th Hussars.
