From "Genealogical History of John and Mary Andrews, Who Settled in Farmington, Conn., 1640" (1872), p 200:
John Andrews, eldest son of Daniel, of South Glastonbury, and his wife Anna Eddy, daughter of Charles, of Glastonbury, born, married, Lucy Eddy; she died at Pa., when, 2d, he married, Widow Sally Brown, of Glastonbury, at East Hampton, Conn. They lived at Hamilton, Wayne Co., Pa. His father Daniel gave him by will (dated 1812,) $300. THEIR CHILDREN. 999. Abner, born , killed with the horse he was riding, by lightning, aged 18. 1000. Adrial, born 22d October, 1780 [s/b 1789], married 5th February,1811, Achsah Taylor, 2d married , 3d married 1001. John Jr., born 14th December, 1792, at Glastonbury, married 23d August, 1818, Amanda Hamlin. 1002. Charles, born 9th April, 1795, married 8th April, 1824, Ann Pease, of Glastonbury. He went to Salem, Wayne Co., Pa. Eunice, bom 1003. David, born 18th December, 1801, married 24th November, 1826,Lucina Lutz, bom 30th January, 1806. 1004. Lucy, bom , married , Jared Marcy. 1005. Anna, born , married , Walter Moore. 1006. Luman, bom , single, killed in the woods of Pennsylvania. 1007. Amanda, born , married , Robert Stanton. 1008. Marinda, born , married , Lester Potter ; live in Ill.
From "History of Wayne County" (1880), p. 272: John Andrews, about 1813, took up a farm east of Harris Hamlin's first farm. He had four sons; Adriel, the oldest, is living, aged ninety-two years; John, Charles, and David are dead. Anson Goodrich married Eunice, his only daughter, who was an excellent woman. She died, leaving a family of ten children, most of whom are living.
One ancestry user tree lists John's wife as Lucy Cone. A John Andrews of East Haddam, CT did marry a Lucy Cone at about the same time, but the 1790 census records show a John Andrews in East Haddam and a John Andrews in Glastonbury. Therefore I do not believe that this is the John Andrews who married Lucy Cone.
