There is no evidence that a "John Atkins" has any connection to the daughter Alice Atwood who married John Stevens. I think we should turn him into a "NN' profile and detach his parents.
The parish records and evidence for Alice Atwood was presented in:
Nothing has ever been discovered about her parents or siblings.
The supposed children were yeoman and shoemakers but the supposed parents shown in many trees include Elizabeth Bourchier and several other royal descendants? This isn't genealogy it is fantasy.
Claim: John Atkins 1 was born about 1554 in Of Caversham, Oxford, England. How would we know? There were no parish record from this time.
Claim: He married Mrs John Atkins about 1576 in Of Caversham, Oxford, England. Based on what? Birth of his children? None were recorded there.
Claim: A John Atkins was father of Alice Atwood who married John Stevens. No genealogist has even suggest such a thing - ever.
