About John Blondel, of the Piques
Biography
John Blondel, of the Piques father of Judith
The Piques, or youngest branch of the family tree, rose from the marriage in 1661, of William Andros, brother of Amias, with Judith, daughter of Mr. John Blondel, of the Piques estate, which ultimately came into possession of the Andros family, in whose hands it remained till 1805, when it passed through the decease without male issue of Charles Andros, Lieut.-Bailiff of Guernsey, and his wife Caroline Carterette Le Marchant of the Haye du Puits, to their daughters' hushands, John Dobree, and William Guille of St. George.
