In 1810, there were three adult males with name John HUDDLESTON in Kanawha Co -- they were referred to as John “Paddy”, John “Boomer” and John “Valley.” It is unknown how John “Valley” may or may not be related to “Paddy” and “Boomer.”16

Miriam Jarrett and Paddy reared all their children and some of their grandchildren on the farm and in the old homesteads.

After her death the old home fell to Jarrett C. Huddleston and then went to strangers. She was buried on the cliff beside her daughter and husband18.
