John R. Bosley 1933-2016 age 83, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016. He was born in Massillon, Ohio, on July 14, 1933, to the late, Harley and Olive (Pike) Bosley. John was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. and served in the Korean War. He was a member of Myers United Church of Christ. John was retired from Wagner Machine, and was formerly employed at Griscom-Russell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Margie and Susan; and brothers, Harley Jr., Robert, Donald, and Edward. John is survived by his wife of 59 years, Nancy Bosley; son, Thomas Bosley; sisters, Gladys and Patty; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at Myers United Church of Christ, 2709 Pigeon Run Rd. S.W., Massillon OH 44647, with Pastor Mary Ann Jopperi, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to Myers United Church of Christ or the Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities, 7891 Hills and Dales Rd.
