About John Bosworth
Descendant of John Howland, "Mayflower" Passenger and Elizabeth (Tilley) Howland, "Mayflower" Passenger
Ben M. Angel notes:
The original record indicated that John Bosworth was buried in "One Hundred Acre Cove Cemetery". Verifying this online seemed to indicate that the only other references to this cemetery were from other online descriptions of John Bosworth's burial location. Applying a number of variations to the name, I failed to come up with any sort of cemetery survey showing this cemetery other than as a proposed John Bosworth burial location. This indicates to me that the name of the burial location either was incorrectly transcribed, or he was buried in a single plot somewhere near Hundred Acre Cove in Barrington.
It should be noted that the other references to Hundred Acre Cove place the location in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. I am fairly certain this is inaccurate. A Hundred Acre Cove exists near his death location at Barrington, Rhode Island.
