"Businessman, Disaster Victim. Died in the sinking of the "RMS Titanic" on April 14-15, 1912 at the age of 40. He attended the Bishop Scott's Academy in Portland and returned to Pomeroy to manage the family store. In 1903, when he was made vice-president of the Pomeroy Savings Bank, he sold the family store. Brady had held stock in the bank since its inception, had been a director since 1894 and also had a one-third interest in the Weller Livestock Company. He came to San Jose, California to assist his mother and sister who had been injured and whose house had been destroyed as a result of the San Francisco 1906 earthquake as a result of him being a member of the Masonic lodges in Pomeroy and of the Commandery in Walla Walla and Elkatiff Temple at Spokane. He was a first class passenger in cabin A21. Son of John Brady and Emily R. Brady. Brother of Ella Brady Tucker."
