John William Brown (son of Thomas Dunlop Brown and Mary Lucretia Willis) was born 02 Nov 1858 in Kaysville, Davis County, UT USA, and died 03 Nov 1926 in St. Johns, Apache County, AZ USA. He married Cynthia Louisa Berry on 12 Mar 1880 in St. George, Washington County, UT USA, daughter of John William Berry and Jane Elizabeth Thomas.

He died November 3, 1926. He was the father of 21 children, 16 of whom survived him at his death. He was a scholar, teacher, missionary and loving friend and a kind and considerate husband and father."
