Burial is on private property. Land once belonged to Hooper Caffey and there is a cemetery there but all that remains are the remnants of mounded brick graves.

John Jr. married Elizabeth Patrick on December 21, 1811 in Guilford County, North Carolina and bore him nine children. She died September 11,1836 and most likely in this same private family cemetery now defunct.

John remarried to Sarah Terrell Scott on August 12, 1848 in Pike County, Alabama.
