Around the same time, she recalled, "a boy named Henry‟ who had been at the house for "eight or nine months‟ had "disappeared in the same way, when no one but Mrs Dean and the children were about the house‟. The photograph that was produced on this occasion had an inscription on the back that read “from Henry S. Thomson with love to Mrs Dean”.
