1. JOHN1 COLLIER was born 1719 in Augusta, Va, and died Bef. August 20, 1765. He married CECELIA (SISELY) HALL. She died Aft. August 20, 1765.
Notes for JOHN COLLIER: His will was proved 20 Aug 1765 at Augusta Co, Va. Will lists children Alexander, John, Moses, Aaron and Margaret and wife Sisley as executor - "Chronicles of the Scotch Irish Settlement of Virginia" by Lyman Chalkey. Will Book No 3, pg 403. 27 Oct 1760. In the same document, pgs 215 and 255 refer to land patented to John Colyer on 16 Jun 1756. This would be a Virginia patent.
