John Creswell [Marine "Charlotte" "Prince of Wales" 1788]

John CRESWELL was born c1764 Exeter, Devon (baptised 5/11/1764 Exeter - son of Isaac CRESWELL and Grace BOWDEN)

John married Mary MAYNE on 25/3/1787 in England

John was a 1st Lieutenant with Royal Marines and he left England on "Charlotte" and arrived in Sydney Cove on 26/1/1788 on "Prince of Wales". His wife accompanied him and she died en-route to Australia

John went to Norfolk Island on "Supply" on 6/6/1789 and he returned to Sydney on "Supply" in May 1791

In November 1791 he left the colony

John died in 1804
