LETTER OF ATTORNEY

JOHN DAILY to JOHN DAILY, JR

To all to whom these Presents shall come I, John Daily of Killeeshill in the parish of Killeeshill County of Tyrone in that part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland called Ireland, Farmer Sends Greetings ---

Whereas James McGough of Swedesburg, near the Borough of Norristown, Montgomery County State of Pennsylvania United States of America, lately deceased was the uncle of John Daily.

And Whereas the said James McGough at Swedesburg aforesaid did intestate and without leaving issue leaving his widow only surviving him and he the said John Daily is the next of kin of the said James McGough deceased being the only surviving child of Owen Daily and Catherine Daily otherwise McGough, both of whom are deceased which said Catherine Daily otherwise McGough was the lawful sister of the said deceased James McGough.

Now Know all Men by these Presents that the said John Daily do make ordain constitute and appoint John Daily Jr of the City of Philadelphia in the said State of Pennsylvania United States of America, workman, my true and lawful Attorney, for me and in my name, or in the name of him, my said Attorney to bring commence and prosecute all and proceeding action or suit at law and for me and in my name to appear in any Court either in person or by attorney there unto lawfully authorized and deputed by him the said John Daily Jr and bring commence and prosecute any proceeding action or suit which is or may be needful or requisite for the realizing recovering or receiving of any share or portion of money or other property of the Estate of the said James McGough deceased coming to and payable to me as such next of kin as a foresaid, and also for me and in my name or in the name of him my said Attorney to sign seal deliver and execute all and every conveyance release acquittance receipt discharge and other assurance required or proper for obtaining and receiving payment of my share or portion payable or coming to me as such next of kin and for effectuating and bringing to termination any such proceedings actions suits sales receipts of money discharges or other matters of things necessary in the premises and otherwise to act in the premises to all intents and purposes as I the said John Daily would have done or caused to be done or as may be deemed prudent by my said Attorney. I hereby ratifying and confirming and agreeing to ratify and confirm all and everything my said attorney shall lawfully do or cause to be done in the premises, and I further authorize and empower the John Daily, Jr. for me and in my name to sign seal execute acknowledge and deliver any deeds conveyances or releases for the release discharge or acquittance of any or all the real estate of the said James McGough deceased of and from the lien or charge of any or all Dower funds which may have been charged thereon for the benefit of the said Mary McGough widow of the said James McGough dec., the said Mary McGough widow as aforesaid being lately deceased and the Dower funds charged upon the Real Estate of the said James McGough dec. being now due and payable.

In Witness Whereof, I the said John Daily have hereto set my hand and seal this Sixth day of September A.D, one thousand eight hundred and eighty

Whereas, James McGough late of the County of Montgomery of the State of Pennsylvania died on or about the 4th day of August A.D 1871 intestate, leaving surviving him a widow named Mary McGough, but no children, but leaving as his heirs and next of kin, the children of a brother named William McGough who is long since deceased, leaving five children to wit: Margaret Cahill, widow, Catherine Cassidy, widow, Ann intermarried with John Rogan, Mary E. Burns, widow and William McGough; and also the children of a sister Catherine Daily, who is long since deceased leaving surviving her three children, to wit: John Daily, Patrick Daily and Thomas Daily: Patrick Daily is long since deceased leaving four children surviving him, to wit: Thomas Daily, Annie Daily, Mary Jane Daily and Patrick Daily. Thomas Daily is also long since deceased leaving surviving him five children to wit: Owen Daily, Ellen Connelly, Thomas Daily, Susan Daily and John Daily,
