John J Didier, Sr.

John J. "Jack" Didier, 79, died Sunday, December 12, 2004 at Heritage Park Health Care Center. Born in Fort Wayne, he was Co-Founder of Didier Meats and previously worked at Kroger's for 23 years. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Survivors include wife, Catherine (Connor) Didier of Fort Wayne; daughters, Amy McCorkle and Sean Didier, both of Fort Wayne; sons, John T. of Columbia City, Anthony G., Christopher C., Michael J., Timothy M., Edward P. and Patric A., all of Fort Wayne; sisters, Margann Hampton of MO, Edythe Mary Sands of Silver Lake, IN and Helen Herber of St. Louis, MO; brothers, Marshall C. Didier, Donald F. Didier and David J. Didier, all of Fort Wayne; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am Wednesday with calling one hour prior at St. Jude Catholic church, E. State Blvd. at Randallia Drive. Calling also 5 to 9pm Tuesday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with Vigil Service at 4:30pm. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to SCAN Inc. or St. Jude Tuition Assistance.
