About John Doss
John Doss (probably confused with Joel Doss)was born in 1740 (abt 1749) per application) and enlisted in the Virginia Troops on March 17, 1777 and was discharched in 1779. He applied for his pension, Marion County, TN, 1818 and again in October, 1826.
His known children are: (1). Moses; (2). Aaron; (3). Biddie; (4). Dide; and (5). Hannah.
