About John Eaton, Sr. (I)

John settled on a five acre farm deeded to him by his father in Haverhill's Great Plain to the east of the village. He added acreace over time and all of his children were born there. The main problem of the location was its distance from the Haverhill Meeting House and John was active in Movements to establish a separate East Parish meeting house.
