Not the same as John Fitch, of Rehoboth who married Mary Fitch. Not the same as John Fitch, of Braintree in Essex or as John Fitch (died young).
B. 1620 d. Windsor CT. No children, married Ann, widow of John Hilliard.

(New Haven: D.L. Jacobus, 1928) 100. John1 Fitch, came to Hartford with his brothers; m. 16 July 1656, Ann, widow of John Hillier of Windsor, whither John Fitch removed. His wife was a widow with 9 children, and she d. 11 Aug. 1673. John Fitch d. at Windsor, 9 May 1676. Having no children of his own, his will, made 30 Aug. 1675 when he was about to enter the army for service in King Philip's war, left his entire estate for a school in Windsor.
