Aynor...John William "Bill" Floyd, Jr., age 67, of Maple Street, died Monday, March 25, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Floyd was a son of the late John W. and Kathleen Ray Floyd. He served in the 1st Battalion, 9th Marines during the Vietnam War where he received two Purple Hearts. For the last 30 years of his life, Bill devoted much of his time to the Boy Scouts as a Scoutmaster and a member of the Order of the Arrow. What was most important in his life was his family.
