About John Clayton Frick

John C. Frick Sr., 76, of Franconia Township, Bucks County, died March 30 in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Township. He was the husband of Pauline M. (Diehl) Frick, who died in 1994. He was a tile marker and tile setter for the former Olean Tile Co., Lansdale, for more than 40 years before retiring in 1986. Previously, he worked on the P.K. Fisher farm, Souderton. After retiring, he worked part-time doing chicken barbecues for various companies. Born in Hilltown Township, Bucks County, he was a son of the late Thomas F. and Ella Mae (Gunsert) Frick. He was a member of Tabor United Methodist Church, Woxall, Montgomery County. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the military police, and was a German prisoner of war. He was a life member of Tylersport Fire Company and Morwood Sportsman Club, a life social member of Green Lane Fire Company, and a member of Bucks Mont Coon Hunters Club, West Rockhill Township, and the Pennsylvania Dog Owners Protective Association. Survivors: Sons, John C. Jr. of Sellersville, Gary L. Sr. of Franconia Township; sister, Alice I. Rhoads of Quakertown; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Call 7-9 p.m. today, David R. Sadler Funeral Home, 33 N. Main St., Telford, and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Contributions: Church building fund.
