John Galwey was the son of Edward Galwey and Ellen Goold. He married Elizabeth Meade, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Meade and Elizabeth Travers, on 14 January 1674. He died from February 1711/12 to February 1712/13. His will (dated February 1711/12) was probated on 17 February 1712/13.

  • He was also known as John Galway.
  • He was admitted to Gray's Inn on 16 May 1668 entitled to practice as a Barrister-at-Law.
