His Majesty the King has been graciously pleased to approve the following Award to the undermentioned, in recognition of their gallantry and devotion to duty in the Field. Awarded the Military Cross. For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. He established and maintained communication most successfully between units of a brigade under circumstances of peculiar difficulty, frequently under heavy rifle, machine-gun, and shell fire.
