Origins

In 1800 these are no doubt the boys, Gideon and John, living with their step-father, William Lewis, at Liberty, Marion District, ages 10-15, so born between 1785-90. [The neighbor to one side is John Gibson (son of Jordan Gibson, Jr.), and on the other is Malachi Murfee, not far away is Benjamin Blackman.]
