John Gray of Dalmarnock and Carntyne

JOHN GRAY OF DALMARNOCK

is the father of John Gray, merchant in Glasgow. He died before 10 May 1758, the date upon which his son John was enrolled as a burgess of Glasgow [James R. Anderson, The Burgesses and Guild Brethren of Glasgow, 1751-1846 (Scottish Record Society, Edinburgh, 1935), page 28].
