About John P. Gray

Information added Jan. 4, 2016 was provided by Debbie Atchley in a electronic document "Descendants of Nathaniel Cannon".

Rosanna Cannon wife of James Gray is my 3 gg mother on my grandfather, William Talton Hopper line and their son John P. and wife, Matilda Fowler Gray are my 2 gg parents on grandmother, William Talton's wife, Price Ann Oliver Hopper/Pugh line.

According to the document John P. and Matilda divorced sometime after the Lyon Co. KY US Census in 1870 and the Census in 1880 where she is listed as living with their son James M. An account of the divorce is provided.

I added John P and Matilda's children because Auseline, born 1834 was Price Anne's mother.

John P. Gray is my cousin on my father Herman E. Hopper's grandmother, Susan C. Still Hopper and he is also my 2 gg father on my father's mother, Price Anne Oliver Hopper/Pugh's Delaney Washington and Auseline Gray Oliver's side.

John P. Gray is Auseline Gray Oliver's father. They are both my cousins and my grandparents.
