John Haffenden

John Haffenden, eldest surviving son of Robert Hoffenden & Margaret Crottoll, inherited house at Tenterden with land and woods, £6 and two steers under his father's will, 1571;

Also to receive £4 per annum from Mother for eight years. Also left a messuage at Tenterden then in the occupation of Thomas Mungam and land and wood recently purchased from Edward Hales.

Lived at Frittenden and Smarden; died circa 1606; Will proved Commissary Court, Canterbury, 1606
