John Harmon

John wrote his Will December 13, 1881 and it was probated 1890 in Greene County, Tennessee - "John Harmon Deceased of Jacob...my daughter Polly Ann Turner, wife of William Turner...my two sons Jacob L. Harmon Moses P. Harmon...my beloved wife Sally if she should survive me...my son Harrison C.Harmon...my daughter Catherine Haun wife of John Haun...my daughter Martha E. Haun wife of Lewis M. Haun...my daughter Sarah J. Huff wife of Jonas Huff...my daughter Louisa A. Bible wife of S. Bible...my granddaughter Amanda Adaline Ailshie daughter of my son Andrew J. page 150: Will of John Harmon of Jacob, dated 13 Dec 1881 (noprov. date given) names daughter Louisa A. Bible, wife of Valentine S. Bible.

This is not the son of Jacob Harmon and Catherine Misemer. He is a cousin that lived 5 miles down the road from this family and is the son of Jacob's brother. There were 2 separate Harmon families who were related with the same names for their children. Extreme caution when researching this family because of this and the fact that they also intermarried. John was 2 years older than Jacob and Catherines' son John.
