John Harris, Sr.

The parents of John Harris are unknown.[1] He was born about 1630, location unknown.[1] The name of his first wife, married probably by 1652, is unknown.[1] She was the mother John's two sons, Walter Harris and Thomas Harris.[1]

John Harris married (as his 2nd wife), Hannah Briggs, daughter of William and Mary (Oldham) Briggs, at Boston, Massachusetts, 10 Sept 1657.[1]

John Harris died by 1664, probably at Wethersfield, Connecticut.[1] His widow Hannah (Briggs) Harris married second, probably at Weathersfield, by September 1664 to Wolston Brockway, and they removed to Lyme.[1]
