Note: RD500 has John's wife as Alice Gascoigne, while MCA (Richardson) & PA2 (Faris) has his wife as Alice Marmion. On SGM, I see references to both, with neither side being particularly favored. Although, perhaps because a better known ancestry is available through Alice Gascoigne, more posters on SGM seem to use the Gascoigne line.
