John Henry Holbrook, Sr.

John and family moved to N.C, because of religious persecution. Two years after he arrived he received a land grant for 175 acres in Wilkes County N.C. , described as “on the south side of the mountain near Camp Branch. The mountain was first known as Holdbrook Mountain.
