Services Wednesday for John H. Murphy
Funeral services for John H. Murphy, 27 years old, 5214 West 10th Street, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Conkle Speedway Funeral Home. Burial will be in West Newton Cemetery.
Mr. Murphy was injured fatally Saturday night in a two-car crash in the New York Central Railroad underpass in the 4400 block of East Raymond Street. Born at Kokomo, he lived here 24 years. He was a laboratory technician at Allison Division of General Motors Corp.
An Air Force veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of Maywood Baptist Church and Speedway Conservation Club. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Margaret Murphy; three sons, James Richard, John H. Jr. and Ronald Lee Murphy, and a daughter, Miss Pamela Jo Murphy, all of Indianapolis; his mother, Mrs. Doris Worland; his stepfather, James Worland, both of Mooresville, two stepbrothers, George E. Worland in the Marines and Carlton Worland, and a step sister, Mr.s Roberta Larrison, both of Indianapolis.
