John Howes

John's son, John, placed a mural memorial to John in Morningthorpe church. It says, "He was a pious man, and the world the better for him".

John moved into Morningthorpe in 1697 and bought adjoining property at Shelton and Fritton
Rumored to have altered his name to Howes in conformity with the writ of designation as High Sheriff of Norfolk
