John Hyre, son of Leonhard (Leonard) (1727–1786) and Anna Marie (Hause) *Hyre (1727–1794) He was the husband of Patience Love (1755–1830). Children: John (1775–1828), Leonard (1776–1829), Mary Elizabeth (1790–1836), Peter (1795–1852), Clara born about 1796, Noah (1801–1882) and Elizabeth born about 1809 – HYRE (*Name also found as (Heyer/Hire - also note that with State and County boundary changes he would have been born in Hardy County and died in Lewis County- then Virginia).
