GOLDEN WEDDING.

On Friday, evening last, at their residence, at Deep Creek, the fiftieth anniversary of the wedding of Mr and Mrs John James, was celebrated, when a large number of friends and relations assembled to felicitate them on the event. The venerable couple, who have spent the greater portion of their married life on Deep Creek, and have gained the respect of a host of well-wishers, were the recipients of numerous presents. A very pleasant evening was spent, several members of the company contributing songs and recitations.
