John Michael Keppel

John Michael Keppel was born on January 14, 1759 in Lehigh, Pennsylvania, United States to Nicholas Kepple and Anna Maria Williams Kepple. John Michael married Anna Dorothea Yerian BEFORE 1787 and had 8 children: Anna Barbara Keppel, Anna Elizabeth Keppel, Anna Magdalena Keppel, John George Keppel, Anna Maria Kepple, John Jacob Keppel, Catherine Keppel, and Sarah Salome Keppel. He passed away on May 8, 1821 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. John Michael Keppel is buried in Union Cemetery, Greensburg, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, United States.

A letter of administration on his estate was filed by his sons-in-law on May 25, 1821.

NOV 4 1822,Penn Archives, third series, Vol 26, Page 458 (Land Warrant). Michael's land was surveyed for the purpose of the warrant after his death in the name of his "heirs". (211 acres in Westmoreland County).
