John was born 16 July 1668 in Newbury, son of John (Henry2, Richard1) Kimball and his wife Mary Jordan.

He married about 1698 Hannah Gould, daughter of Nathaniel.

He was a wheelwright by trade and lived in Amesbury.

He married Hannah Gould before 1707 in Massachusetts. They had at least one child, Benjamin Kimball.[3]
