John Lightfoot's wife

There is no known record of Mrs. Lightfoot's given or maiden name. We do not know if she came to Virginia. There is no record of her on the list of the shipwrecked Sea Venture passengers.

The date of her death is unknown, but it was almost certainly before that of her husband in 1628.

Some genealogies show Mrs. Lightfoot's name as Ann Goodrich, however, this is a case of mistaken identity. Ann Goodrich Lightfoot was born much later, c1662. She was the wife of Col. John Lightfoot III (who has no known relationship to this family).
