About John Samuel Little

John S. Little, aged 69 years, one of the city's best known bricklayers died suddenly at 10 o'clock last evening at his home, 325 North Fifth Street, following a hemorrhage of the lungs. Mr. Little was engaged at bricklaying from the time of his early youth and his friends among the tradesman were numerous.

He belonged to St. Mary's Church, the Bricklayers, Plasterers, and Masons Union, and the Order of Owls. Mr. Little is survived by his widow, Mrs. Cornelia Little, three sons, Samuel and Earl Little, this city and Harry Little, of Pottsville; three daughters. Mrs. Samuel Merkey, of Frystown; Mrs. Fred Yiengst, of Philadelphia; and Mrs. Francis Bowman, this city; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be held in St. Mary's Church on Friday morning.
