Born in Glamis Castle, Angus, Scotland on 1452 to Sir John III Lyon, and Lady Elizabeth Scrymgeour, Lady of Dudhope, 3rd Baroness of Glamis. Sir John Lyon, 4th Lord of Glamis married Elizabeth, Countess of Rothes, Baroness of Glamis, Grey and had 9 children. He passed away on 9 Sep 1513 in Flodden Field, near Branxton, Northumberland, England.
