He married Catherine, daughter of Hector McSween, of Beaver Cove. Issue: — Ann, Bessie, James, Mary, Roderick, Mary, Archie, Ronald, and Lucy.

 Lucy (Murdock) married John D. McNeil, Benacadie West. Since the death of her husband, she has been housekeeper for Very Rev. Father McKenzie, P.P., Iona.

From page #139 in "History of Christmas Island Parish":

Donald settled at Benacadie East, and married Mary, daughter of Rory McNeil (Malcolm). Issue: — Rory B., John, Elizabeth, Maggie, James, Joseph, John, and Donald.

• John married Lucy, daughter of Murdock McKenzie (Ban).
• Joseph is the only one of the family now living. Tuberculosis carried away the rest.
