Researcher's Notes ==Clan MacBean in North America, Volume II, Fifth Edition Revised 1993, by Joseph S. Bean, on page iii, lists the Chiefs of the Clan MacBean. On this list, John is named as the 11th Chief of Clan MacBean and thedates of birth and death for John are given as 1619-1658. If those dates are accurate, John would have been nine years of age, when comingto live at Kinchyle.
