• There was no man called 'Donald Leroy MacBean' connected to the family of MacBean of Faillie in Strathdearn (NOT 'Faullis' in Lochaber - Lochaber is a long way from Strathdearn).
• There was no man who was chief called 'Angus Gilliphadrick MacBean' - this is a made up name. The two first names are a metaphorical and much mistaken mail-merge of the names of two completely different men.
• The MacBeans of Faillie were a separate branch to the MacBeans of Kinchyle - this latter family was the family of the Chiefs. NOTE: All such errors in entries lead to huge confusion in genealogies across the internet.
